Meeting minutes for May 10, 2004

Location: Champs Sports Pub, Radisson Hotel, Burnaby

Present: Kevin Deane-Freeman (President), Andy Gal (Vice President), Steve Ip (Secretary), Tyler Borges (Social Coordinator), Brent Dozzi (Treasurer), Shaun Hodgins (House Liaison), Bryce Bendickson

As a quorum was achieved, the meeting was called to order at 19:53

Executive Reports:

Secretary
- Will submit Form 26 to National
Social Coordinator
- Pub Crawl on Aug 07 (tentative)
Vice President
- Found a potential camping trip site with a drive-in beach. About 20km further down the logging road. More investigation to follow.
President

Secretary will generate a exec contact list
Justin Malcolm is taking care of the Email server
House has electrical problems. Need to look at current house insurance policies
A few alumni/actives are owing enormous amounts of house rent

Treasurer

Submitting the Society Annual Report
Accounts are in good standing
Reviewing the house insurance bill

House Liaison
- Discovered a minor asbestos problem, may be costly to fix.
- House is full this summer
- Need to follow the "Hotel Code" for any major renovation/improvement

Agenda

House liaison will meet with house manager discussing House renovation issues
Stairs are slippery and a potential hazard

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 21:10
