RE: Minutes of Alumni Meeting of November 8, 1997

Meeting at Bread Garden on Central Blvd. in Burnaby. Attended by: AH, BD.

OLD BUSINESS

1. Christmas Cocktail Party
   
• BH printed out about 54 postcards with the SPD logo on one side. AH completed the labels for the invitations. AH mailed out about 54 invitations.
  
• Party will be held at Mike and Beth Currie's residence on Sunday, December 7th, from 4pm until 8pm.
  
• AH to contact RP, as SoCo, to see if he is willing to organize the party.
  
2. Mary Gillespie Memorial Achievement Award
   
• AH made amendments as per minutes of previous meeting earlier in the year. AH discussed award's history and application form changes with BD.

NEW BUSINESS

1. Dues
   
• BD received dues payments from Kevin Oldknow, Laurie Maranda, Fred Kaempffer, Leonard Strilchuk, Richard Fraser and John McIntosh.
  
• BD to fax AH copies of cheques in order to ensure currency of addresses.
  
2. Insurance and Society
   
• AH gave BD insurance and society information. AH will send $5 cheque with change of address form to Ministry of Finance and Corporate Relations.
