Meeting minutes for March 8th, 2004

Location: Champs Sports Pub, Radisson Hotel, Burnaby

Present: Kevin Deane-Freeman (President), Andy Gal (Vice President), Brent Dozzi (Treasurer), Tyler Borges (Social Coordinator), Edmund Gin (Secretary), Ron Byrne, Justin Malcolm, Bryce Bendickson.

Apologies: Darren Farnworth (Western Province Councillor), Shaun Hodgins (House Liaison).

As a quorum was achieved, the meeting was called to order at 7:13 pm.

Executive Reports:

- National Dues Invoice has arrived and given to BDozzi
- Notice from Grand President Derek Troy regarding the passing away of the Grand Old Man, Brother Bob Beals

Operating account at around $400, will be eaten up by National dues
House outstanding for utilities and taxes
Maintenance fund at around $5000
Made around $200 on Ethical Fund

E-Mail Server Report

JMalcolm reported that the server is still up and running, and now has a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) on it. Also gave a brief explanation as to how the server works to AGal.

Annual General Meeting Agenda

Items to cover will include Chief's Bursary, Pub Crawl, Elections, Chapter Financing issues. Other obvious topics are Officer Reports and Elections.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:11pm, followed soon thereafter by a Todd Bertuzzi sucker-punch and a dismal 8-2 loss by the Canucks to the Colorado Avalanche.
