Meeting minutes for January 12th, 2004

Present: Kevin Deane-Freeman (President), Tyler Borges (Social Coordinator), Edmund Gin (Secretary), Cameron Reeves (Paraphenalia), Don Nash, Maciej Zielinski, Andy Gal, Josh Brewster.

Guests: Alex Kelada (Theta Chapter)

Apologies: Brent Dozzi (Treasurer), Shaun Hodgins (House Liaison), Darren Farnworth (Western Province Councillor).

As a quorum was achieved, the meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm.

1. Executive Reports:

• House is messy, especially back yard
• Letter written to House Manager re: party
• Social Coordinator
• Christmas Social went well, waiting for final numbers

• Actives have nice beer cozies, talk to Theta Chapter haberdasher (Andrew "Spock" McGechaen), $5

4. Chief's Bursary

We've got money. TBorges to advertise with forms at upcoming Active Chapter meetings. Return by Feb 1, 2004. EGin to send forms to TBorges (and post soft copy on website).

5. National Report

Not available.

6. Vice President Nominations

Brother Andras "Buttcrack" Gal was nominated by EGin, seconded by MZielinski. No other nominations were made. AGal won by unanimous vote.

7. Annual General Meeting

Date to be announced at next meeting.

8. Super Bowl Party

AKelada reported the following: 6 kegs, 5 girls, projector screen on main floor. 1 pre-game, 2 half-time, and 1 post-game shows. Tubesteak to be negotiated. AGal had no comment re: the latter. Hope to sell 80 tickets (break even point). Door prizes (paraphenalia, lap dances).

9. Spring/Winter Trip

AGal suggested a ski trip, late February or early March. Details to be finalized.
